Stream-Q
Spotify Canvas

Spotify Canvas from your cover

Canvas is a short looping video that Spotify shows instead of the cover on phones. Here you can make one from an ordinary cover: it breathes to the beat, the background slowly zooms, and optionally — VHS and glitch.
  • 9:16
  • 3–8 seconds
  • Loop
  • No text or logos
  • MP4

Upload a track — pick a style — download the video

All you need is a free Stream-Q account. Previews are free every day, and the first 2 full videos are free too.

Spotify's requirements — already covered

  • Vertical 9:16, at least 720 px tall (we make 1080×1920).
  • 3–8 seconds long — set with a slider.
  • No text, links or logos: the stream-q.com mark isn't added to a Canvas.
  • No sound in the file — Spotify plays the track anyway.

How to upload it

Spotify for Artists → Music → pick the track → Canvas → upload the MP4. The Canvas shows up for listeners within a couple of hours.

FAQ

How much does it cost?

A 10-second preview is free, up to 20 a day. The first 2 full videos are free (with a small stream-q.com mark in the corner), then 30 Notes per video. Without the mark — 30 Notes more. Notes are Stream-Q's bonus currency: you earn them for tracks rated on streams, and they can't be bought.

What if the video fails?

If the render fails, or you cancel the job while it's waiting in the queue, your free credit or Notes come back automatically.

What format is the video?

MP4 (H.264 + AAC) — accepted by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram and Spotify Canvas. You also get a JPG thumbnail frame (1280×720 for YouTube — just right for the video thumbnail). The video is kept for 30 days.

Can I upload the video to YouTube with my music?

Yes, if the music is yours (or you hold the rights). If the track goes out through a distributor with Content ID, YouTube may flag the video — that's normal for your own release: the revenue stays with you.
